Lijiang is a beautiful ancient town situated in the northwest of Yunnan province. The town's most famous landmark is the Mu Palace, which tells a story of conflict between the Naxi people and Chinese Han dynasty. Lijiang also boasts of having the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which offers visitors the chance to hike and have a bird's eye view of the surrounding landscape.
Shangri-la: The Town of Peace and Tranquility
